Every brand has its band of superstars, the crowd favorites and the ones you love to hate. That has always been the chemical make up of every wrestling company. But it isn't everyday where one man, one wrestler, one franchise athlete epitomizes the wrestling industry as a whole. It isn't everyday that an athlete of such caliber and charisma walks into your office and signs a contract. You cannot even call these men franchise players, that was just the beginning for them, wrestlers like these have immortalized their names and legacies with this business. Bret 'The Hitman' Hart, 'The Great One' The Rock, Stone Cold Steve Austin, and of course the man thats been the Icon of Wrestling for the past quarter of a decade, 'The Immortal' Hulk Hogan. When these men walked out from behind those curtains, when their theme music was blasting over the P.A. system, there was a certain electricity that circulated through out the whole arena, you just knew, there was an aura, an aura of greatness, you knew you were now witnessing an ERA of Greatness right before your own very eyes.
For atleast a decade now, there's been a void, there hasn't been that one man who had the charisma, the the in ring skills, and that IT factor and no matter if they loved or hated you, they had to give him the damn respect he deserved. S lowly a imgage of Randy Orton appears and he convincingly utters these words.not just mere words, but a promise.ĭ torch has been passed and circulated through so many names, but it seems everytime the torch was passed onto someone, the flames were just to hot for them to handle carrying the business on their om the likes of Edge, JBL, and even John Cena couldn't handle it.
There's been wrestlers who have come and gone, there's been wrestlers who have dubbed themselves such names as "the Cerebral Assasin, A Wrestling God, The Whole F'n Show, The King of Kings.The King. W e've heard these names come and go, titles placed upon men by their own witty mouths, but rarely do they ever truly live up to the names. Now we're blessed with another jackass who's claimed himself as "the King" and you wouldn't guess who it is this time.Ī s our scene opens up, our ears are greeted first with the beautiful sounds of a horn, almost as if announcing that we are about to be in the prescence of royalty. As the image begins to appear, we are making our way up a nicely curved pair of stairs and as we make our way up the stairs we see numerous championship titles and plaques and awards on both sides and as we finally make it to the top of the stairs, we are greeted by an insane big portrait of Randy Orton, posing after a victory, and on the picture the words MR. DESTINY-WRESTLINGS ONLY TRUE ROYALTY-RANDY ORTON are engraved right below the picture. #Randy orton theme song take whats mine professionalĪs we continue to take a tour of this monsterous house, who we can only assume belongs to Randy Orton, we walk by several Championship belts, like the WWE Intercontinental Title, the nEw Television Championship, and of course the WWE World Championship, we even walk by Randy's version of the Million Dollar Championship that he also held when he was the nEw Television Championship.
